German Euclid Science Data Center (SDC-DE)

The Euclid Science Data Centres (SDCs) are in charge of data storage and processing and the production of Level 2 and Level 3 science data products (calibrated mosaics, catalogues, etc.).

The SDC-DE is partnering with the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility (MPCDF, formerly known as RZG), a joint computing centre of the Max Planck Society and the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics which offers services for Max Planck Institutes all over Germany. All Euclid hardware for computing and data storage is installed at MPCDF.

More in formation about the MPCDF is available here.
